Key Account Manager (West of Ireland focus)
Field based role - manufacturing presence in Limerick
We have been retained to recruit an experienced Key Account Manager to drive business growth across Ireland by developing strong customer relationships, identifying new opportunities, and managing key accounts within a manufacturing-focused environment.
Prior experience selling into the food manufacturing or adjacent sectors is an advantage. Strong benefits package including company car, pension and lucrative bonus structure.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline and deliver against revenue targets.
Build and maintain relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
Identify and secure new business opportunities within the assigned region.
Develop strategic account plans to maximise customer growth and retention.
Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customer-focused solutions.
Prepare commercial proposals, tenders, and sales reports.
Maintain high levels of customer service and account management.
Requirements
Degree qualified or equivalent professional experience preferred
Proven experience in B2B sales, key account management, or business development.
Experience within manufacturing, packaging, print, or a related industry is highly advantageous.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Commercially driven with a consultative sales approach.
Highly organised, proactive, and customer-focused.
A motivated sales professional with the ability to build long-term partnerships and deliver growth.
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
