Job Purpose:
As a Kitchen Supervisor at Supermac's, you will support the smooth operation of the kitchen and ensure high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and teamwork. You'll lead by example, guide the kitchen team during busy periods, and make sure all procedures are followed consistently. This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills, leadership ability, and a passion for maintaining a clean, efficient, and safe kitchen environment.
What You'll Do:
* Supervise daily kitchen operations to ensure efficiency, consistency, and quality.
* Lead and support the kitchen team, providing direction and assisting during busy periods.
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring full compliance with food safety regulations.
* Ensure all kitchen equipment is properly maintained, cleaned, and safe to use.
* Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, manage deliveries, and follow company procedures for stock rotation and waste control.
* Oversee the completion of daily cleaning schedules and ensure all tasks are accurately signed off.
* Report any equipment issues, safety concerns, or maintenance needs to the manager.
* Support the Chef on duty in delivering high-quality food and consistent service standards.
* Train new kitchen staff and ensure ongoing adherence to company policies and procedures.
* Implement and enforce health & safety and HACCP guidelines at all times.
* Contribute ideas and improvements to enhance efficiency and maintain strong quality control.
