Senior Financial Leader
The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving financial performance across multiple sites, developing strategic leadership skills and contributing to the wider finance function.
Main Responsibilities:
* Monthly Management Accounts: Prepare and review management accounts to the highest standards, ensuring accuracy and providing detailed analysis.
* Weekly Production Pack: Compile and analyze variances for management purposes, identifying areas for improvement.
* Costing Analysis: Review standard versus actual costings for all products, optimizing pricing and profitability.
* Intercompany Transactions: Communicate, post recharges, and reconcile accounts in a timely manner.
* Regulatory Returns: Prepare and submit tax, statistical, and compliance filings on time, ensuring regulatory compliance.
* Budget Preparation: Assist the Finance Manager in annual budget development, forecasting future financial performance.
* Stock Control: Manage reconciliations across multiple stock locations, maintaining accurate inventory records.

* Senior Leadership Team Collaboration: Partner with SLT to ensure strong financial governance, driving business growth.
* Process Optimization: Review, automate, and standardize processes continuously, improving productivity.
* Grant & R&D Claims: Assist in preparation of submissions, maximizing funding opportunities.
* Accounts Escalation: Act as point of contact for complex AP/AR issues, resolving discrepancies promptly.
* Finance Initiatives: Contribute to team projects and ad hoc reporting, supporting business objectives.
The successful candidate will have a professional qualification such as ACA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA, a manufacturing interest, direct communication skills, accuracy, and positive leadership abilities. They should also be comfortable working under pressure and be adaptable, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
