Salary: €45,000 per annum pro rata

Why This Role?

This is a part-time, manager-level position at the centre of Ireland's film & TV community.

You will be trusted with responsibility, working directly with the Executive Director, Chair and Board to ensure operations run smoothly, shape creative events, and deliver resources that matter to Ireland's directors.

With flexibility to choose your three working days, including a designated desk in Temple Bar each week, you will enjoy both structure and balance while making a tangible impact on the future of Irish film & TV.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage administration, membership, and events to a professional standard

* Ensure accurate reports for funders, sponsors, and the board

* Develop and launch resources (guides, residencies, agents, copyright guides, festival deadlines, affinity deals, etc.)

* Conduct member surveys and present insights

* Manage digital communications: newsletters, website updates, and social media scheduling

* Deliver monthly events and collaborate with festivals annually, including screenings, workshops, residencies, the AGM, and the SDGI Awards

* Handle logistics: scheduling, suppliers, venues, catering, budgets, and sponsorship support

* Design events that are creative, professional, and impactful

* Draft press releases and liaise with media outlets

* Manage office operations: IT, insurance, supplies, workflow systems

* Maintain a professional and welcoming office environment

* Arrange board meetings: scheduling, preparing papers, circulating agendas, and taking minutes

* Support the Chair and Board of SDGI with governance and compliance as needed

* Coordinate interns, volunteers, and staff support

* Organise occasional team-building and development opportunities

What We Are Looking For

We are seeking a highly organised individual with excellent attention to detail.

Proficiency with Excel, Mailchimp, WordPress, and social media tools is essential.

Experience in event and festival coordination and design is desirable.

A confident communicator written, digital, and in-person is required.

Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively is essential.

Flexible, with availability for at least one evening event per month is necessary.

What You Will Gain

A designated desk in Temple Bar at least one day a week, working alongside the Executive Director.

Flexibility to work your other two days either at your office desk or from home.

The reward of supporting Ireland's film & TV directors and helping shape the industry.

A role that blends administration with creativity, sponsorship, and people-focused impact.

A stable salary aligned with the responsibility.
