Electrical & Instrumentation Project Engineer
Contract Opportunity
A leading global life sciences manufacturer is currently seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Project Engineer to support a major brownfield expansion and capital project programme within a highly regulated GMP manufacturing environment.
This role will support the delivery of multiple E&I workstreams across construction, commissioning and project execution activities on site.
Responsibilities
Support the execution of Electrical & Instrumentation projects from design through to commissioning and handover
Coordinate vendors, contractors and construction activities across multiple project workstreams
Review and manage technical submittals, cable schedules, loop drawings and project documentation
Support QAQC, system walkdowns, snagging and turnover activities
Assist with commissioning and qualification activities across electrical and instrumentation systems
Coordinate installation activities in line with project schedules and GMP requirements
Work closely with construction, CQV, QA and engineering teams to resolve technical issues on site
Support procurement activities including BOQs, long lead items and vendor coordination
Ensure all activities are completed in accordance with safety, quality and compliance standards
Requirements
Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation or related discipline
Previous experience supporting E&I projects within pharmaceutical, biotech or highly regulated manufacturing environments
Strong understanding of construction execution, commissioning and project delivery
Experience with instrumentation systems, electrical distribution and field installations
Exposure to GMP environments and regulated project documentation
Ability to work within fast paced brownfield or CAPEX project environments
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Experience
Biologics, API or sterile manufacturing project exposure
EPCM or contractor side project delivery experience
Experience supporting cleanroom or process manufacturing facilities
Exposure to DCS, PLC or building management systems
