Claims Service Advisor/Claims Handler
The purpose of this role is to provide a superior claims service, protecting clients' best interests and achieving the best possible outcomes. This involves delivering exceptional customer care, efficiency, compliance, and teamwork.
You will be responsible for handling liability claims across various lines of business, working closely with account teams, insurers, and specialists to ensure optimal results. Responsibilities include managing claims on a day-to-day basis and maintaining high standards of technical quality and communication throughout the process.
We provide comprehensive training to assist with the performance of the role, ensuring you have the necessary skills to excel in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
* Proactively deal with all aspects of client claims from notification through to settlement.
* Maintain excellent relationships with clients and keep them informed of important developments.
* Demonstrate a clear understanding of the claims environment, including the Injuries Board and Irish Legal System.
* Implement agreed claims handling protocols.
* Robustly challenge Insurers' strategy/reserves where necessary.
* Manage the investigation of incidents and accidents.
* Responsibility for reserve allocation.
* Managing the IRB process.
* Arranging medical examinations.
* Arranging engineering inspections.
* Instructing solicitors.
* Attending review meetings and ensuring regular communication with our clients.
* Relationship management.
