Project Director Role
A seasoned professional is required to lead the management of commercial projects, ensuring high standards of delivery, safety, and commercial performance.
Responsibilities:
* Oversee large-scale project delivery, meeting time, budget, quality, and commercial targets.
* Build and manage project teams, fostering a positive work environment to retain talent.
* Plan, update, and track schedules; coordinate site and project managers for alignment.
* Maintain high standards of health & safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
* Manage cost and value procedures, providing accurate commercial reports to stakeholders.
* Lead on contractual mattersdocumentation, change management, issue resolution, and compliance.
* Guide and train teams on contract management and company policies.
* Drive procurement efficiency and supply chain performance.
* Identify underperforming projects, implement corrective actions, and give operational feedback.
* Champion cost savings and process optimisation across projects.
* Ensure projects meet company standards for presentation, brand, and compliance.
* Work with directors and project managers to mitigate risks, resolve challenges, and support business growth.
Requirements:
* 3rd Level Degree or Trades Qualified
* Over 6 years of experience with main building contractors in Ireland or the UK
* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously or large-scale projects
