The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Clerk/Part qualified accountant to join our Finance Team. This role requires strong organisational skills, excellent accuracy, and experience using Sage. The successful candidate will support accounts payable and receivable, assist with month-end reporting, and help ensure the smooth running of the finance department.
Hybrid working options are available following the initial training period.
Key Responsibilities
* Accounts Payable: allocating & reconciling supplier accounts, invoice processing, setting up new suppliers. Supplier payment runs for the group.
* Accounts Receivable: allocating & reconciling customer accounts, issuing statements, credit control for the group.
* Invoice discounting reporting and annual bank audit preparation.
* Monitoring employee credit card expenses.
* Assisting with month-end reporting, including posting journals.
* Assist in creating a detailed audit file and support the year end audit process
* Overseeing Banking, intercompany and sales reporting
* Responding to supplier and customer enquiries.
* Filing, archiving, and general admin duties.
What We're Looking For
* Experience in an account's role is essential, min 3 years
* Proven Sage experience (Sage 200 or equivalent).
* Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
* Good communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Experience in Excel (X look up and Pivot table) is an advantage
* Experience with ROS and revenue returns (Vat, CSO, Intrastat, Vies) is an advantage
Hours: Neg, ideally full time 39 hrs. per week Monday to Friday
* Hybrid work available after training. Flexibility to work from home 2 days per week and 3 on-site.
