My client is looking for a Data Scientist with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join their organisation based in Cork.
This is a permanent role.
Responsibilities Lead data driven analysis to generate insights that support strategic business decisions.
Conduct advanced analytical work including causal analysis, trend evaluation, forecasting, and ad-hoc investigations.
Deliver analytics initiatives across areas such as customer behaviour, segmentation, marketing performance, and commercial operations.
Translate complex analytical findings into clear insights and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
Develop dashboards, reports, and scalable data models that enable performance tracking and data-driven decision making.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support the development of junior analysts or data scientists.
Key Skills and Experience 3-5 years' experience in a data science, analytics, or related role.
Strong experience working with large, complex datasets and turning analysis into practical business recommendations.
Proficiency in SQL and programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis and modelling.
Experience using visualisation and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau to present insights.
Solid understanding of statistical methods including regression, hypothesis testing, correlation, and statistical inference.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present insights clearly and work effectively in cross functional teams.
