Senior Employee Relations Specialist
Description
This role is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to join our team as a Senior Employee Relations Specialist. We are seeking an individual with extensive experience in HR, employee relations, and industrial relations to deliver expert support to our clients across various sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Consulting Delivery: 85% of time
* Design and deliver employee relations and industrial relations consultancy services based on our principles of W@owee.
* Act as subject matter expert to provide effective employee relations and industrial relations support to clients.
* Lead and support external stakeholders in the delivery of organizational change programs.
* Lead complex workplace investigations, hearings, and appeals involving disciplinary, grievance, bullying, harassment, and sexual harassment matters.
* Maintain a robust documentation management system to ensure key data is recorded, risk assessments, and client advises are accurately recorded.
* Prepare reports to ensure compliance and support the effective conclusion of employee relations and industrial relations issues.
Stakeholder Engagement: 15% of time
Present and facilitate discussion with senior stakeholders on project topics, articulate proposed approaches, discuss risks and benefits, and devise initiatives to align with client needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Relevant degree or master's qualification in HR/Law or related discipline.
* Ideal post-graduate qualification in Employment Law/Conflict Resolution and/or MBA.
* At least 10 years relevant HR, employee relations, and/or industrial relations experience within a busy ER/IR/legal environment or HR consulting practice.
* Strong project management and client management competence.
* Demonstrated success in facilitating change, solid problem-solving, excellent facilitation, and analytical skills.
* Strong relationship management and interpersonal skills.
* Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
