A Global semiconductor giant based in Cork are seeking to bolster their team with a talented GPU Performance Modelling Engineer.ResponsibilitiesCreate bitwise-accurate functional models (C-Models) using C/C++ to simulate new GPU architectures and solutions.Design and implement algorithms for functional blocks, define development scope, and verify design correctness.Develop comprehensive test suites and perform functional verification and validation using both C-Model and RTL simulations.Conduct conformance, stress, and random testing to stabilise GPU and compute systems.Collaborate with architects, designers, driver, and compiler teams to deliver high-performance, low-power graphics solutions.RequirementsBachelor's degree with 4+ years, Master's degree with 2+ years, or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.Strong programming skills in C++ and solid understanding of computer architecture and/or graphics pipelines.Excellent debugging and problem-solving abilities with the capability to write clean, maintainable code.Preferred: Knowledge of graphics/ray-tracing/compute architectures (DirectX, OpenGL, OpenCL, Vulkan), scripting languages (Perl/Python), and experience with SystemC/TLM or Verilog/SystemVerilog.Preferred: Good communication and teamwork skills, familiarity with Agile methodology, and experience with graphics/compute drivers or compilers.If this role is of interest please apply directly on LinkedIn or send a copy of your CV to -By applying to this role you understand that we may collect your personal data and store and process it on our systems.
