Working Pattern: Monday–Thursday 8:30am – 4:30pm, Friday 8:30am – 4:00pm
Duration: Ongoing temporary contract
About the Role: On behalf of our client, Apple Recruitment Services are delighted to be recruiting a Storesperson for a busy operational environment based in Portadown.
This is a hands-on role supporting the efficient operation of the stores function, including stock handling, deliveries, loading and unloading, and supporting trades staff with materials and equipment requirements.
The successful candidate will also utilise internal IT systems to support stores operations and ensure accurate stock management and record keeping.
Key Responsibilities:
• Carry out loading and unloading duties within the stores environment
• Provide support and materials to trades staff as required
• Complete deliveries to operational sites
• Operate and maintain stores IT systems and records
• Assist with stock control and inventory management
• Ensure materials and equipment are stored safely and appropriately
• Support the smooth day-to-day operation of the stores function
• Follow health and safety procedures at all times
Essential Criteria:
• Previous experience working within a stores, warehouse, logistics, or operational support environment
• Good IT skills with the ability to use computerised systems
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to undertake manual handling and physical duties associated with the role
Additional Information:
• Basic Access NI clearance will be required prior to appointment
• 23 days annual leave plus 12 public holidays (pro rata where applicable)
• Minimum 20-minute flexible lunch break between 12pm–2pm
