Overview Our client is seeking a Head of Personal Lines to lead and grow their Personal Lines division. This senior leadership role offers the opportunity to shape strategy, oversee performance, and manage a high-performing team while driving the continued success of the business. Key Responsibilities Lead and develop the Personal Lines team, ensuring strong performance, compliance, and client service. Oversee all aspects of the Personal Lines portfolio including motor, home, travel, and other consumer products. Set and deliver growth strategies to increase revenue and market share. Build and maintain strong relationships with insurers, negotiating terms and agreements that benefit clients and the business. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and uphold the highest professional standards. Drive continuous improvement in processes, technology adoption, and client engagement. Report to senior management on performance, market trends, and business opportunities. Based in Ireland, with periodic travel across the country and into Europe, you'll be responsible for performance delivery and customer success, for teams located outside of the jurisdiction of Ireland. This is a key role in ensuring regulatory compliance and service excellence, while actively supporting the execution of a dynamic transformation roadmap, guiding the team toward a blended model of human and digital service delivery. Skills and Experience Proven track record in Personal Lines within an insurance brokerage or insurer. CIP or APA Qualified in General Insurance, with at least 3 years experience in a Minimum Competence Code Controlled Function CF1 or CF7 role. 3+ years of management experience in the insurance industry. Strong leadership, client relationship, and change management skills. Commercially focused with the ability to deliver results. Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills. In-depth knowledge of the Irish insurance market and regulatory environment. Strategic thinker with the ability to manage day-to-day operations.
