The Role
OVERVIEW: This role assumes responsibility for managing media campaign activity for multiple client accounts.
The role will also act as a point of contact for clients surrounding the day-to-day account management activity.
It requires the use of media planning tools, effective management of the media planning processes, excellent attention to detail and time management to ensure best in class delivery on behalf of the media team for clients.
It also requires strong collaboration and communication with the wider organisation across the Central Teams to ensure that delivery is to the highest standards.
A strong working relationship with colleagues, particularly the Channel Planning and Investment teams, is a crucial element of this role.
Responsibilities
Develop media plans for all clients within the team and coordinate Central Teams to produce the media plan delivered to clients.
Own the creation of the media plan, working closely with the Channel Planning team and all Central Teams to ensure efficient delivery of the media planning process.
Manage campaign from start to end, project managing client queries, coordinating reports, monitoring and ensuring plans are audit ready.
Ensure timesheets are updated weekly and reflect the time spent on client business.
Validate campaign delivery, performance and create post-campaign reviews for clients.
Liaise with Creative and OOH agencies for creative asset delivery.
Analyse reports, provide insights and identify actions.
Maintain accurate billing and P.O. reconciliation and manage media budgets, forecasting and aged debt.
Ensure all billing is 100% accurate and on time.
Coordinate live campaign queries and reporting to Central Teams.
Support client service by delivering competitor insights and innovations.
Manage delivery of the media plan aligned with overall media rationale.
Maintain audit readiness of plans and implement audit recommendations.
Report on and own the KPI of unbilled %, query resolution, delivery scores in RADAR reviews.
Agency Performance
Ownership of media plan creation and collaboration with Channel Planning and Central Teams.
Project management of campaign from start to end, addressing client queries, coordinating reports, monitoring, ensuring audit readiness.
Implement audit recommendations agreed by Business/Client Director and Auditor.
Manage all campaign amendments and push changes to Channel Planning and Investment teams.
Internal coordination with Core Practices on live campaign queries and pacing reports.
Analyse and use Central Team reports to supply insights and actions.
Coordinate with Creative and OOH agencies for creative asset delivery.
Validate campaign delivery and create post-campaign reviews.
Manage the delivery of the media plan, ensuring alignment with overall media rationale.
Maintain audit readiness and implement recommendations.
Provide insights and actions based on Central Team reports.
Commercial Performance
Collect and reconcile client P.O.s and manage internal communication across teams for efficient month-end billing.
Reconcile all media plans at month end to reflect delivery.
Own billing at month end, including accurate financial reporting, full accuracy and timely delivery.
Manage media budgets, forecasting and aged debt.
Ensure accurate booking categories and correct project identification.
Update timesheets weekly to reflect time spent for client business.
Talent Management
Deepen understanding of media through Core Learning programme(s) and attend training for development.
Understand client business, their key business priorities and contribute to strategy creation.
Collaborate with Client Director to enable development and maintain high quality agency output.
Maintain career development plan aligned with 360 appraisal and quarterly catch-ups.

Your profile
Experience
2-4 years' media experience with proven track record.
Knowledge of digital disciplines beneficial.
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience with third-party tracking (DoubleClick) preferred.
Experience managing large scale, complex media campaigns essential.
Experience with relevant marketing tools.

Salary Range
33,000 to 44,000 DOE
