We're growing our team in Cork and looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Financial Accountant to support our finance operations and help our nursing homes thrive.
The Role As a Financial Accountant, you'll manage financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance, working closely with the Head of Finance.
Your insights and analysis will help guide decision-making and improve financial performance across our homes.
What You'll Do Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable insights.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
Maintain the general ledger and oversee month-end/year-end processes.
Ensure compliance with Irish accounting standards, tax laws, and audit requirements.
Support process improvements and financial system enhancements.
What We're Looking For ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CPA qualified with 3+ years' experience in accounting or finance.
Strong knowledge of Irish GAAP, IFRS, and tax regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software (Sage preferred; ERP systems acceptable).
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
