Legal Costs Administrator Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for administering matters from settlement to closure, maintaining a list of matters and their statuses, monitoring office and client account costs, and creating costs files for the Legal Costs Accountant.

Key responsibilities include:

* Maintaining accurate records and documentation
* Preparing and reconciling matter costs
* Communicating with clients, Legal Costs Accountants, experts, and legal counsel
* Filing case correspondence and preparing payments

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

* Strong administration skills, including letter writing and preparation of finance records
* Familiarity with Practice Evolve Case management software (an advantage)
* Excellent numeracy skills and attention to detail
* Intermediate Excel skills
* Prior experience with billing systems and client outlay
