About this role
This is a dynamic opportunity to join our team as a Homecare Supervisor. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing homecare assessments and care plans with prospect service users.
Key responsibilities:
* Work closely with the team to ensure high-quality services are delivered to our clients.
* Carry out inductions and supervision of new staff as needed.
* Monitor staff compliance and training, ensuring they meet the required standards.
* Conduct individual client assessments and reassessments to agreed standards.
* Develop and implement person-centred care plans that cater to each client's unique needs.
* Maintain accurate documentation on client care provision.
* Visit clients during their service provision period, reviewing updates and delivering services.
* Perform spot checks and complete client and staff feedback forms.
* Monitor client satisfaction and provide feedback to improve services.
* Prepare for and participate in HSE and internal audits, actively contributing to quality improvement initiatives.
* Work collaboratively with regional teams, traveling throughout the designated areas.
* Attend meetings with stakeholders as required.
* Action client complaints or non-conformances within specified timelines.
Requirements
* Full QQI Level 5 award in Healthcare Support (required).
* QQI Level 6 or above in Supervisory Management (desired – training available).
* Previous experience in a similar role.
* Full, clean drivers' licence and access to own transportation.
* Proof of in-date certifications in mandatory courses such as Patient Moving & Handling and CPR (training available).
* Willingness to undergo Garda vetting.
