Site Management Opportunity
Your new role will be to manage one of their developments, which is on the development side. This project is underway and has a good structure of management already in place.
As a site manager, you will direct and day-to-day manage the quality and subcontractors. You will also move to a new project with them thereafter.
What We Are Looking For
To be eligible for this position, you must have a proven track record of management on site, previously in the residential sector. This can be for a builder or if you have run your own organisation for a number of years, doing renovations and new builds etc.
You don't need to be a wizard with I.T, but you must be able to read drawings and be able to manage the subcontractors, give direction and manage the quality whilst being able to work well and use initiative if issues arise.
Benefits
In return for the above, you will work for a great organisation that has a strong name within the industry and produces high-quality work. You will be given the autonomy to run and manage a high-end build project. You will be left to your own devices but have strong support on site and from senior management.
You will be paid by the hour for what you work, and paid on a weekly basis. This gives you a chance to look at them as an organisation for 6–12 months before committing to them for the long term. The hourly rates depend on whether you are a PAYE worker or acting as self-employed. There may be extra scope for really strong managers.
You will be given good flexibility where required and an opportunity to progress up the ranks if that is something you will be after in the future. They operate away from Dublin City Centre, which is always a bonus, and will continue to do so indefinitely.
