Job Summary:
The Hotel Reception and Reservations Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a busy hotel reception and reservations department.
This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage a team and make key decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and supervise a team of front office staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
* Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hotel reception and reservations department, including check-in/check-out procedures, room assignments, and guest services.
* Ensure that all guests receive excellent service and have a positive experience during their stay.
* Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
* Collaborate with other departments, such as housekeeping and food and beverage, to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements:
* 3+ years' experience in a supervisory role within a hotel or hospitality environment.
* Proven track record of managing a team and achieving results.
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
* Commercially and customer-focused, with attention to detail.
* Able to work on own initiative and equally able to work as part of a team.
* Proficient in using Opera or similar hotel management systems, as well as office software such as Microsoft Office.
