Steel Construction Fitter Position
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of engineering drawings, enabling them to produce high-quality parts efficiently and effectively meet production demands.
* Must be fully competent with technical specifications and follow industry-standard procedures for welding and metalworking.
* Able to work within strict tolerances and handle heavy machinery and equipment.
* Proficient in operating oxygen and acetylene cutting and heating tools.
* Responsible for identifying and removing defective welds, conducting repairs as needed, and ensuring overall product quality.
* Cleaning and dressing welds (removing imperfections etc.) following completion.
* Capable of lifting and moving components safely and efficiently.
