Mercer is seeking a highly skilled and experiencedTechnical Delivery Lead (a.k.a Technical Product manager)to support Mercer's OCIO (Outsourced Chief Investment Officer) Investments this role, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of technology solutions that underpin Mercer's investment management processes, ensuring they meet business needs and strategic objectives.A strong understanding of the investment management industry, including its processes, instrument asset classes, and associated technologies, is essential. We will rely on you to: Lead the delivery of technology solutionsthat support Mercer's investment management processes, ensuring alignment with business priorities and strategic architecture. Apply your deep understanding of the investment management industryto guide solution design, delivery, and operational support, addressing theunique needs of Mercer's OCIO business. Manage end-to-end delivery projects, from initiation through deployment, ensuring timely, within-budget, and high-quality outcomes. Collaborate with investment teams, business stakeholders, and technology partnersto gather requirements, define technical solutions, and ensure successful implementation. Coordinate with vendors and internal development teamsto deliver both off-the-shelf and custom-built investment technology solutions. Ensure operational readiness and supportabilityof delivered solutions, addressing operational challenges and optimizing processes. Lead cross-functional teamsin adopting Agile and traditional project management practices, tailoring approaches to project needs. Support the rationalization of regional technical needsversus the strategic Target Operating Model, promoting technology reuse and standardization. Represent technology interestswithin regional and global investment forums and initiatives. Partner with broader Investment and MMC Technology organizationsto ensure alignment, risk management, and effective communication of business priorities. What you need to have: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Finance, Business Administration); advanced degrees are a plus. Proven experience as aTechnical Delivery Leador similar role, with a strong track record of delivering complex investment technology solutions. Deep understanding of investment management processes, asset classes, and related technologies. Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences, including senior management. Experience managing projects involving both vendor solutions and in-house developed systems within the investment technology space. Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams across geographies. Proficiency in Agile and traditional project management methodologies, with relevant certifications preferred. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. What makes you stand out: Extensive experience in the investment management industry with experience across the Investment Management technology architecture. Experience with State Street Alpha, Charles River, Risk/Analytics Platforms (e.g. PORT, Factset, Yield Book), or Jacobi are a plus. Knowledge of an OCIO business.
