Position Summary (23 month FTC) Stryker's Staff Interaction Designer collaborates with Marketing and R&D team members, applying user research methodologies and technical design skills to generate insights and concepts for the ENT Business that lead to the development of digital interface product platforms for innovative medical devices and systems. User Centered Design techniques are key skills required to determine appropriate user experience, ergonomics, function, aesthetics, quality and usability. Who We Want User-focused creators. What you will do: Stryker's Staff Interaction Designer collaborates with Global Marketing and R&D team members, applying user research methodologies and technical design skills to generate insights and concepts that lead to the development of innovative medical devices and systems. User Centered Design techniques are key skills required to determine appropriate user experience, ergonomics, function, aesthetics, quality and safety. The Staff Interaction Designer plays a key role in planning and leading user observation research, synthesis and prioritization of insights as well as creating ergonomic and aesthetic design solutions through digital prototypes. Successful candidates should have the technical and management skills to lead the team through the empathic design process from insight gathering to concept ideation and development. Merging an understanding of human, customer and business needs, this role is expected to create high quality design solutions that can be commercialized. Demonstrate design leadership potential with the capability to act as an interaction design expert within the business. What you will need: BFA or BS in User Experience (UX) Design, User Interface (UI) Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Industrial Design, Human Factors or related degrees. 4+ years of experience and a portfolio that demonstrates your work on commercialized products. 2 years experience in medical devices Expertise in Design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, QT (QML) is a must. Keyshot 3D visualization rendering is a plus but not essential. M asters in medical device design, interaction design, human computer interaction, psychology or human factors is desirable #IJ Posted Date: 03/27/2026 This role will be posted for a minimum of 3 days.
