In response to the growing demand for cyber risk solutions, Marsh Ireland is seeking a Business Development Executive to join our Cyber team. The role involves creating new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and collaborating across Marsh to deliver our Cyber Value Proposition and drive revenue growth within the Cyber/Specialty practice.
Main Activities
Gain in‑depth knowledge of Marsh’s CyberTech value proposition and develop technical working knowledge of CyberTech & FINPRO products.
Actively seek and develop relationships with prospects and client contacts while maintaining oversight of the target/prospect list.
Develop market profile, attend industry trade events, and compose marketing materials for wider circulation.
Draft and deliver new‑business presentations and support colleagues in creating new opportunities.
Identify growth areas, whitespace opportunities and newly developed cover solutions.
Review client risk assessments and identify opportunities for additional advisory, consulting and incident‑management services.
Work with business stakeholders to create cross‑selling opportunities and implement strategic sales plans to achieve targets.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities for alignment with marketing, product and operations teams.
Monitor and report on sales performance metrics and suggest improvements.
Attend industry events and conferences to promote the company and generate leads.

Location & Working Arrangements

What you will need to have
CIP qualification
3–5 years of general insurance experience
Full driver’s licence and access to personal transportation
Eagerness to learn and enhance technical skills
Self‑motivated and energized
Excellent communication skills at all levels with clients and colleagues
Team‑player mindset, able to collaborate with stakeholders

ACII qualification
Proven sales delivery record (desired but not essential)
Professional certifications in sales or business development (advantageous)
