PE Global is currently recruiting for a Chemist II for a leading multi-national pharma client based in South Dublin.
Role:
This is a 12 month contract position.
Responsibilities:
* Performs analytical testing on drugs and drug combination products with Liquid/Gas Chromatography, Elution, Spectroscopic and Wet Chemistry techniques.
* Responsible for Laboratory investigations ensuring timely disposition/closure.
* Responsible for continuous maintenance of systems in line with corresponding regulatory changes & product lifecycle revisions.
* Possess a complete understanding of relevant processes systems and policies and understanding of how they interact with department.
* Drives continuous improvement projects to reduce testing lead-times/cost savings.
* Works independently to plan and schedule activities to meet project timelines.
* Supports Training of new colleagues.
* Supports Internal and External Audit programs.
* Support Regulatory submissions.
Requirements:
* Minimum of Level 8 in Chemistry, Biology, Material Science, or related technical discipline.
* Minimum of 3 years relevant laboratory experience.
* The candidate will have excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills that are results oriented.
* Strong verbal and written communications skills.
* Ability to prioritize and execute on daily tasks.
* Ability to work and be effective with minimal supervision.
