If you want to be part of spreading the word about volunteering and its benefits, we need your help. Your involvement as event support is crucial to the success of the centre, which supports both volunteers and volunteer involving organisations. Waterford Volunteer Centre hosts and attends many events from volunteer fairs, roadshows, information evenings, training sessions and more.
Responsibilities
* Welcome visitors to information stands.
* Provide basic information about Waterford Volunteer Centre and its services.
* Help those interested to find printed materials or online resources about volunteering in Waterford City & County.
* Communicate with visitors and spread the key benefits of volunteering.
We will provide you with all the necessary materials and support in this role. Where possible, you will be paired with another volunteer.

About the organisation
Waterford Volunteer Centre provides a placement service, matching individuals who would like to volunteer with non‑profit organisations that involve volunteers in their activities. We offer advice and support to both volunteers and non‑profit organisations through a range of services including information, consultation, volunteer management training and Garda vetting administration.
