This role is suited to an individual who is a qualified accountant, enjoys a fast-paced environment, is comfortable in building and managing relationships and has an interest in how IT transformation will shape the future of the business. Key roles and responsibilities include: Working with the Head of IT Finance - business partnering to the Chief Technology Officer and the senior IT leadership team across the Group As part of the respective project teams, assist IT project managers in the financial management/control of budgets relating to large IT transformation projects across the Group Support the Forecast, Budget and 3YP process for IT opex and capex spend Assisting in the management of monthly, quarterly and year end cost reporting for the IT function to budget - delivering analysis, insight, and decision support to the business Identifying process improvement opportunities across all areas of IT Finance Assist in ensuring adherence to financial governance and risk management on behalf of finance for IT Provide decision support to the Finance Director/Head of IT Finance as required and support the senior finance team to deliver the One Finance strategy The successful candidate will possess the following: Be a qualified accountant with a minimum of 5 years PQE Strong systems orientation and experience in change management A strategic and curious mindset capable of challenging with a view to delivering the optimal outcome Confident analytical, presentation and communication skills (both verbal and written) Excellent self-discipline and organisational skills Adaptability and flexibility to work effectively within different situations and with multiple projects, teams, and individuals A general interest in IT and IT systems would be an advantage but is not a requirement for this role.
