About Your New Job
Perform regular site audits and inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Create, review, and update risk assessments and method statements to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
Conduct training sessions and toolbox talks for site personnel and subcontractors, promoting best practices in workplace safety.
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for corrective actions.
Work with project management teams to implement and monitor site-specific Construction Health and Safety Plans.
Support environmental initiatives, including waste management, pollution control, and energy efficiency measures.
Serve as the primary contact for regulatory bodies during site visits and inspections.
Manage workload across multiple sites and provide training and support for HammerTech for both new and existing staff.
What Skills You Need
Level 8 or higher Health and Safety Qualification, or a related field (or equivalent qualifications).
Previous experience in EHS roles, preferably within the construction industry.
In-depth knowledge of EHS regulations, risk assessment, and hazard identification.
A full clean Irish Driver's Licence - Class B (Travel to sites in Kerry & Clare)
Expertise in incident investigation, root cause analysis, and safety performance data analysis.
Strong organizational skills, communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety excellence.
