This role will focus on architecting and governing orchestration frameworks that enable multiple AI agents to collaborate securely and reliably to solve complex business challenges. You will define the technical vision, integration strategy, and operational standards required to scale AI-driven automation across the organisation.Key ResponsibilitiesArchitect and oversee multi-agent orchestration platforms that coordinate AI services and autonomous workflowsDefine communication models, event-driven patterns, and state management approaches for distributed AI systemsDesign resilient, fault-tolerant architectures with robust error handling, retry logic, and recovery mechanismsEstablish observability standards, including monitoring, logging, and performance tracking for AI ecosystemsLead integration of AI solutions with enterprise applications, APIs, and data platformsDevelop reusable architectural blueprints, patterns, and reference implementations to accelerate deploymentProvide technical leadership and governance across AI initiatives, ensuring scalability, security, and complianceCollaborate with engineering, data, and cloud teams to align AI architecture with broader enterprise strategyRequired Skills & ExperienceStrong software engineering background with expertise in PythonDeep understanding of distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Prefect, Temporal or similar)Experience designing message-based systems using technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQProven capability in API design, systems integration, and microservices architectureExperience deploying scalable solutions using Docker, Kubernetes, and major cloud platformsKnowledge of monitoring and observability tooling (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack)Ability to produce clear architectural documentation and guide best practice adoptionBackgroundDegree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplineProven track record designing scalable, enterprise-grade platformsExperience working with AI/ML systems or agent-based technologies strongly preferredThis is a high-impact contract role suited to a hands-on architect who can combine strategic design with practical delivery in a fast-evolving AI landscape.
