Restaurant Manager Opportunity
We are seeking a highly organized and charismatic Restaurant Manager to join our team at a busy restaurant in the city centre. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
About the Role
* Greet all guests warmly and professionally upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for our customers.
* Manage table reservations and walk-ins using our booking system, coordinating with the floor team to ensure efficient seating and table turnover.
* Maintain an organized and clean front-of-house area, answering phone calls and responding to customer queries regarding reservations, menus, and general information.
* Handle guest complaints or concerns with a calm and solution-focused attitude, ensuring our customers receive excellent service.
* Support the floor team during peak times as needed, ensuring seamless service delivery.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a host/hostess or customer-facing role (hospitality experience preferred).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers.
* Friendly, professional, and well-presented at all times, with a positive attitude towards providing exceptional customer service.
* Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
* Familiarity with reservation platforms (e.g., OpenTable, ResDiary) is a plus.
