About the Role
As Branch Manager, you will oversee all daily operations of our Portlaoise bodyshop, ensuring high standards in:
* Repair quality
* Customer service
* Workshop productivity
* Staff management
* Compliance and Health & Safety
* Budget and target performance
You will work closely with all staff, technicians, insurers, and customers to drive success and continuously improve the business.
What We're Looking For
We understand the unique landscape of the Irish motor trade — most bodyshops are owner-operated. That's why we're open-minded about your background.
You might be:
* An experienced Bodyshop Manager or Estimator looking to join a more structured organisation.
* A Service Manager or Motor Trade Professional from the dealership network with strong people management, operational, and customer service skills, ready to step into the autobody world.
* A Motor Engineer/Assessor with a background in bodywork.
We will train the right candidate in Audatex if they bring strong experience from a motor industry background and a willingness to learn.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a management or supervisory role in the motor trade
* Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
* Excellent organisational, multitasking, and decision-making ability
* Customer-focused with a proactive attitude
* A solid understanding of workshop operations and process management
Desirable:
* Experience with Audatex estimating system.
* Previous experience in a Bodyshop or Accident Repair Centre.
* Experience working with insurance companies or assessors.
