Our aviation client, a global turbine engine support company with operations in Ireland, the UK, and the US, is seeking an Aviation Stores & Logistics Technician to join their Dublin-based team.

From their European base, they provide expert support across a range of aircraft engine models — including engine repairs, lease return inspections, long and short-term storage, and 24/7 AOG services across Europe.

This is a hands-on workshop support role, ideal for someone with experience in aviation stores, tooling, or logistics who enjoys working in a technical environment supporting aircraft engine maintenance operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Procurement and Logistics Lead, the successful candidate will provide hands-on support within the engine maintenance facility, assisting with the storage, movement, and control of aircraft materials, tooling, and components — ensuring compliance with EASA Part-145 regulations.

* Sourcing and procuring materials for CFM56 series, CF6-80, V2500, PW2000/4000, and RB211 engines.
* Receiving, inspecting, and logging goods inwards in accordance with EASA standards.
* Managing and maintaining accurate stock levels within the ERP system (Quantum).
* Coordinating shipments of aircraft components and tooling, including Dangerous Goods consignments.
* Supporting engine maintenance teams with the issue and return of tooling and equipment.
* Overseeing calibration schedules and load testing of workshop tools.
* Liaising with external repair shops for the overhaul and repair of engine parts.
* Preparing and processing purchase and repair orders.
* Acting as the site Health & Safety Coordinator to ensure safe working practices are maintained.
* Maintaining a clean, organised stores area and supporting general workshop operations.
* Assisting with the shipment and receipt of engines and related materials between Dublin and Shannon facilities.

Requirements:

* Certificate-level qualification in a relevant discipline or at least 2 years' hands-on experience in aviation stores, logistics, or spares handling.
* Good understanding of EASA Part-145 regulations relating to aircraft parts handling, acceptance, and storage.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Full, clean driver's licence required.
* Forklift licence and Dangerous Goods training are advantageous.
* Previous experience purchasing or handling aircraft materials is highly desirable.

Additional Information:

* Occasional travel may be required between Dublin and Shannon facilities.
* Flexibility to support other departments during busy periods, including occasional weekend or out-of-hours work.
* Ongoing professional training and development provided.

Salary & Benefits:

* Competitive salary depending on experience
* Monday to Friday schedule (non-shift)
* Health Insurance and Pension Contributions
