About the Role
Our client is seeking compassionate and dedicated Staff Nurses to join their established elderly care facilities in either Swords or Cabra, Dublin. The successful candidates will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of person-centred care for residents in a supportive and professional environment.
Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality nursing care and ensure the dignity, comfort, and wellbeing of residents at all times.
* Lead and support the team of Healthcare Assistants in delivering direct and indirect care.
* Build strong, trusting relationships with residents and their families to promote a caring and inclusive atmosphere.
* Develop, implement, and review individualised care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
* Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with regulatory standards (HIQA).
* Take responsibility for nursing care during assigned shifts.
* Participate actively in team meetings, continuous professional development, and quality improvement initiatives.
* Work as part of a roster that includes both day and night shifts (Monday–Sunday).
Requirements
* Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
* EU Passport holder (eligibility to work in Ireland required).
* Minimum 6 months post-graduate experience in elderly care (preferred).
* Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* A genuine commitment to person-centred care.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Sound knowledge of HIQA standards and regulations.
