Responsibilities
Work collaboratively with the Facilities Manager and on‑site teams to ensure planned, reactive and preventative tasks are completed.
Oversee site technicians and the planning scheduler to ensure all planned maintenance and reactive tasks meet or exceed the account service level agreements for building plant, equipment, and systems.
Ensure all team members are trained to meet legal requirements and facilitate cross‑training to maintain team backup.
Ensure all on‑site planned maintenance and reactive tasks are performed in accordance with local legislation.
Maintain records as required by Operational, Regulatory and Statutory practice.
Adhere to the Maintenance Management System in all engineering practices, including planned and reactive tasks.
Ensure planned maintenance activities are carried out in compliance with account Standard Operating Procedures and maximize availability of plant and user equipment through efficient maintenance and prompt fault response.
Provide technical support for projects and assist with project delivery.
Undertake small installation works and repairs to mechanical and electrical plant and equipment under Quality Arrangements.
Maintain and complete documentation for fire extinguishers, fire suppression systems, building alarm contacts and other building systems.
Maintain and repair plumbing components including toilets, urinals, lavatories, flush valves, water fountains, sinks, drains, water heaters, piping and sump pumps.
Provide all other building maintenance, repair and restorative procedures as directed.
Qualifications
Electrical technical qualification and/or trade licence.
3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role, leading a team.
Experience using a CMMS system.
