Role
Role:
* Lead engineering activities for the design, development, and delivery of HV substation and grid connection projects.
* Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure technical compliance.
* Support procurement by preparing technical scopes of work and evaluating vendor proposals.
* Provide technical guidance during installation, testing, and commissioning, ensuring compliance with IEC, IEEE, EN, and other applicable standards and regulatory requirements.
* Lead and mentor a team of engineers throughout the project life cycle.
* Identify and address resourcing needs for current and upcoming projects.
* Proactively assess and communicate project risks throughout all stages.
* Collaborate with the Safety, Health, Environment & Quality (SHEQ) function on all project-related matters.
Requirements:
* Degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering
* 3+ years’ experience in electrical engineering design and/or project management
* In-depth knowledge of HV and MV network requirements in industrial settings, with a focus on resilience and system studies
* Experience with energy management systems and integration of automated control systems into electrical networks
* Proven ability to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to required standards
* Skilled in managing multiple projects concurrently
* Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support others.
