About the role
As part of the Site Logistics Team, you will be responsible for supervising stock transactions including goods receipting, moving stock from stores to bakery locations and finished product despatch. The role also involves coordinating stores and washroom activities, and liaising with Bakery Shift Supervisors.
Reporting to: Panelto Warehouse Supervisor (or Manager when the Supervisor is not on site)
Roles and Responsibilities
Health & Safety
* Lead by example by taking appropriate care and attention in the warehouse environment.
* Ensure that daily forklift checks are completed in stores and washroom.
* Maintain all warehouses in a clean, tidy, and clutter-free condition to ensure a safe working environment.
* Act as Shift Fire Warden for the Despatch Area.
Team Leading
* Ensure Stores orders are delivered On Time and In Full.
* Ensure Stores and washroom breaks are covered.
* Ensure all reports for washroom and stores are completed and signed properly.
* Manage freezer movements to ensure sufficient storage space, a constant supply of Pre-Pack, and live freezer stock updates at the end of every shift.
* Complete a shift report at the end of each shift and send it to the Supervisor and Manager by email (covering any problems/incidents and confirming completion of assigned tasks).
* Ensure logistics and washroom areas are clean and ready for shift changeover.
* Lead shift changeover meetings.
* Check and report any scanning discrepancies in the warehouse.
* Liaise directly with Production Supervisors if any issues with scanning etc.
Stores
* Knowledge of the LISA warehouse management system (WMS) and SAP to correctly receipt, transfer and dispatch products.
* Liaise with Molihan Shunter to ensure trailers are available for loading as per the Loading Plan.
* Manage the Despatch mobile phone and respond to calls promptly.
* Resolve Transfer Note queries or escalate them to the appropriate person when necessary.
* Forklift driving.

* Basic computer skills.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
* Ability to work independently and problem-solve.
* Strong root cause analysis skills, with the ability to address gaps and hold others accountable.
* Ability to identify and actively plan improvement initiatives.
* High attention to detail, critical for maintaining the company's service levels.
* Experience in Forklift driving: counterbalance; reach truck; ride-on pallet truck.
