This role requires a balance of analytical thinking and floral expertise to ensure that the right mix of flowers, plants, and related products are available at the right time, especially during peak seasons and high‑demand holidays.ResponsibilitiesManage inventory and purchasing by monitoring stock levels and placing orders with wholesalers or growers to support both daily operations and special events.Develop effective merchandising and display strategies, creating visually appealing shop layouts and seasonal promotions that encourage impulse purchases and highlight key offerings.Set sales targets, determine pricing strategies, and analyze sales performance to ensure financial success.Coordinate logistics, overseeing incoming shipments, processing customer orders, and managing delivery operations.Supervise and train retail staff when deemed necessary, ensuring they are knowledgeable about product care, especially flower longevity, flower arrangement, and capable of delivering excellent customer service.Stay informed about current floral trends to make informed purchasing decisions and relevant product offerings.QualificationsCore skills for this role include strong inventory management, particularly with perishable goods, a solid understanding of retail operations and sales systems, excellent customer service abilities, and foundational knowledge of floral products, plant care, and seasonality.
