Group Procurement Manager
About the Role
At Dornan we are currently recruiting for experienced Group Procurement Manager to lead procurement, supply chain, facilities, and travel operations across a multi-site organisation. Based in our Head Office in Cork reporting to the Group Procurement Director this is a key role focused on delivering commercial value, driving operational excellence, and ensuring strong governance and supplier performance.
Your day to day will include:
Lead sourcing, negotiation, and appointment of subcontractors, suppliers, and service providers
Drive cost efficiencies and continuous improvement across procurement activities
Manage supplier lifecycle, including prequalification, onboarding, and performance management
Oversee day-to-day procurement operations and support site-based teams
Ensure effective procurement systems, workflows, and material tracking processes are in place
Manage facilities, including offices, warehouses, leases, maintenance, and security
Oversee company assets, fleet, accommodation, and project-related logistics
Manage corporate travel, including supplier negotiation, approvals, and reporting
Ensure compliance with internal policies and mitigate supply chain risks
Support ESG initiatives, including sustainable procurement and environmental reporting
Lead and develop a high-performing, multi-location team
What we are looking for:
10 years + experience in a senior procurement/supply chain role
Experience in construction or engineering environments is an advantage
Strong commercial, negotiation, and supplier management skills
Experience managing multi-site operations and complex supply chains
Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
