Job Summary
A Group Accountant plays a pivotal role in driving financial excellence within a dynamic organisation. This permanent position demands a qualified accountant with extensive experience in handling complex, fast-paced environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and submit consolidated financial reports to the Board on a monthly basis, coordinating with various departments and analysing key performance indicators.
* Spearhead the statutory consolidation process during interim and year-end reporting cycles.
* Take ownership of technical accounting areas including impairment assessment, defined benefit pension schemes, and IFRS 16 disclosures.
Requirements
* Chartered Accountant qualification (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) is essential, preferably accompanied by Big 4 training.
* A minimum of three years' post-qualification experience in practice (PLC audit experience is highly desirable) or industry.
