We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead the delivery of key projection work in our actuarial team.
About the Role
This role will be responsible for providing valuable insights into how our diverse portfolio of life and reinsurance risks perform under a wide range of scenarios. You will collaborate across finance, risk, actuarial reporting, and the business to support planning, stress testing, and strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead delivery of the annual business plan and Financial Condition Testing (FCT)
* Produce projections, stress tests, and scenario analyses across key risk areas
* Collaborate with Actuarial Reporting, Finance, Risk, and Business teams
* Communicate technical results clearly to a range of stakeholders
* Contribute to Group-level initiatives enhancing projection capabilities
What We're Looking For
We are looking for a qualified Actuary with 5+ years of post-qualification technical experience and a strong background in financial projections, capital/cash flow modelling, and ALM. Experience with tools like Prophet, Excel, SQL, and Power BI is also required. Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence across teams are essential. A proactive, organised, and solution-oriented mindset is necessary for this role.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial markets and the ability to interpret complex data sets. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are also essential, as well as excellent time management and organisational skills.
