Overview
Due to continued expansion of eir evo we are now seeking to recruit an experienced Mobility Deskside Support Engineer that endeavours to become an integral part of our Managed Services Team, working on a dedicated team for a prestigious client, supporting an evolving and exciting multi-technology IT environment.
The successful candidate will work on and receive exposure to different technologies, Microsoft Servers, Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, VMWare, Citrix, Cloud (Azure), as well as the latest Microsoft applications & solutions.
This role is a one year fixed term contract based onsite with our customer in Cork
High Level Overview:
1. Monitoring and Management support and configuration of customer's infrastructure
2. Provision accounts and equipment
3. Desktop Support for customer
4. Supporting Windows Desktops, Outlook, Networks, Ms. Office, O
5. Configuration of Microsoft Server, Exchange, Active Directory.
6. Maintain and build the current documentation in place
7. Hardware troubleshooting
8. Interacting with and managing 3rd parties
9. Application troubleshooting and support
10. Imaging and Deployment
11. Manage File Permissions and Access Rights
12. Configuration and Support of Mobile Devices
Role Overview
13. Responsible for uploading and setting up business mobile applications for deployment. This includes supporting application teams with mobility areas of solutions, managing Google updates and verification of accounts, as well as handling various applications.
14. Manage Knox EFota, including creating campaigns, approving uploads, and ensuring devices are updated. Additionally, handle Knox Asset Intelligence management by addressing app crashes and upload downtimes.
15. Manage the Sharefile UMT by syncing user accounts to Sharefile, creating folders, assigning users, and troubleshooting.
16. Resolve tickets for 3rd level Mobility Support
17. Manage the configuration of Netscaler, including traffic policy, cert management, VIP/Netscaler management, configuration setup, and build. Test resources for security/infrastructure updates, including out-of-hours support. ESRI requires whitelisting once a week, and verify how often firewall tests will be required.
18. Manage remote management tools for field devices, set up accounts and access, be the point of contact for security/infrastructure solutions, and handle account and password setups without SSO management.
19. Handle setup and configuration of apple business manager, update certificates, reenrol iOS devices, and manage annual activities. Oversee escalation for issues/access and manage overnight sync to Intune from Apple.
Experience
20. 2+ years Working in a Mobile Technical support environment (required)
21. Application Support – 1st Level
22. Windows Servers, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, MS Office – Level 1 support
23. Office and Virtualization experience advantageous.
24. Customer Services, Call Handling
It would be preferred if the candidate had one of the following accreditations and experience
25. Microsoft Specialist certification in Windows 10
26. A Microsoft MCP for Client or Server OS
27. Comptia A+
28. Comptia Net+
