Our client, a dynamic and expanding US multinational in the biotech/medtech sector, has engaged us at CPL to recruit a talented, energetic, and ambitious HR Manager to join their leadership team and head up their HR function in the mid-west.
The Job
As a key part of the site-based senior leadership team and reporting to the Global Head of HR, the successful candidate will cover a broad remit across the HR function, including both hands-on and strategic duties. Responsibilities include leading the HR team locally, engaging with global HR colleagues, managing complex HR projects, heading employee relations and IR functions, designing and delivering new HR policies and processes, overseeing compensation and benefits, training alignment, and managing internal and external recruitment processes.
As part of the site leadership team, you will also guide and coach departmental managers, ensure compliance with HR legislation and industry best practices, set strategic HR budgets, and support corporate strategy to ensure the long-term success of the HR function and the Irish operation overall.
Your Skills/Experience
* Minimum 3rd level degree in HR, business studies, or related discipline; additional relevant qualifications are a plus.
* At least 4 years’ experience as an HR Manager or 6+ years in a senior HR Business Partner role.
* Experience in the med-tech, medical devices, pharma, or related sectors is advantageous but not essential.
* Proven ER & IR knowledge and experience.
* Excellent IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and other applications.
* Strong attention to detail, interpersonal, and coaching skills.
* Ability to work independently and deliver HR projects effectively.
The Offer
Salary is approximately €95,000-€115,000, depending on skills and experience, with excellent benefits including pension, private healthcare, and more. The initial contract is for 12-14 months.
This role offers a hybrid work model: 3-4 days in the office and 1-2 days remote.
