MVI Hazel are a leading distributor of components to the the kitchen, furniture and hardware trades, founded more than 70 years ago and now part of the Sanbra Group.
As we continue to grow, we're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our experienced
Purchasing
team.
What You'll Be Doing?
You'll play a key role in supporting a growing business within the Purchasing Department.
Key Responsibilities:
· Work closely with the Purchasing Manager
· Provide administrative support in maintaining purchase/supplier files
· Raise supplier purchase orders
· Goods receipt processing and investigating supplier account/price queries
· Processing supplier & freight invoices in a timely manner
· Return to Vendor process
· Follow up of outstanding purchase orders with suppliers
· Create supplier and stock reports
· Ensure the data base is accurate and up to date with PO due dates, pricing and expected delivery dates
· Arrange local and international transport and ensuring all freight documentation is accurate and compliant.
Essential Requirements:
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc)
· Confident manner and excellent communication skills both verbal and written
· Team player
· Excellent organisational skills and has good eye for details
· A desire to learn about our products and systems
