Job Title: Full Stack Developer
Job Description:
Our client, a growing financial services technology company, is seeking a Full Stack Developer to contribute across the entire technology stack. The successful candidate will play a key role in building and maintaining an internal modelling platform used in financial analysis and planning.
Responsibilities
* Develop scalable features across backend and frontend environments
* Maintain and build RESTful APIs using Python (FastAPI)
* Implement responsive user interfaces with React
* Design and optimise database schemas and queries
* Ensure secure authentication and authorisation across systems
* Write and maintain comprehensive unit and integration tests
* Contribute to architectural decisions and planning
* Collaborate with stakeholders across engineering and product teams
Experience Required
* Minimum of 6+ years in a full stack development role
* Strong backend experience using Python
* Proficiency with React and modern JavaScript
* Solid understanding of SQL and RESTful API principles
* Knowledge of secure coding practices and authentication flows
* Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git)
* Excellent problem-solving ability and communication skills
Desirable Skills
* Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Azure (e.g., App Services, Functions)
* Understanding of containerisation technologies like Docker
* Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
* Prior exposure to financial services or aviation industries
* Competence in data visualisation tools or libraries
* Understanding of microservices and distributed architecture
Educational Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline

* Initial requirement for on-site presence five days a week during onboarding phase
