Job Overview
This Operations Technician role in Waterford provides experience in operations, maintenance, and quality. You will work as part of a busy team, reporting to the Stability Lead, and perform sample management activities.
Responsibilities
Operations
* Receive, check, and store customer deliveries in compliance with guidelines
* Retrieve, pack, and deliver samples to customers
* Perform daily checks on stability cabinets and room conditions
* Complete equipment calibrations and temperature/humidity mapping (training provided)
* Maintain cleanliness and schedules per QMS
* Liaise with external consultants and contractors
* Provide administrative support and perform other duties as required
Driving
* Collect, load, deliver, and return samples across Ireland
* Coordinate with the team to meet delivery deadlines
* Ensure paperwork accuracy for deliveries
* Drive company vehicle safely and in accordance with policies
Quality
* Ensure activities meet QMS and cGMP standards
* Review documents for compliance and completeness
* Manage quality reports on deviations
Qualifications/Skills
* Attention to detail
* Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel, including report and graph creation
* Strong work ethic, team player, and proactive
* Positive attitude and ownership of projects
Education, Experience & Licensing
* 2+ years’ experience in temperature-controlled storage, regulated manufacturing, or pharmacy environments
* Experience with SOPs, inventory management, and quality documentation
* Full clean driving license
Hours are Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with occasional outside hours.
