Site Engineer / Engineering Surveyor

DPH Surveys is a well established Western Australia based Surveying company which provides construction survey services to major civil construction and contracting companies operating in the Pilbara and Goldfields.
We have fantastic opportunities for experienced Site Engineers keen to gain experience in Western Australia working on large civil and infrastructure projects.
These opportunities are well suited to young civil engineers keen on a Working Holiday opportunity.
The Job
Tasking
* Handle liaison with construction site team including tradesmen and supervisors.
* Design verification, including following internal quality processes of checks and verifications prior to set outs.
* Undertake necessary calculations and prepare reports
* Set out of bulk earthworks, civils/concrete or SMP projects
* Monitor builds and provide guidance to tradesmen including carpenters, steel fixers, concreters, earthworks.
* Execute As-Built surveys and reports for bulk earthworks, civils/concrete or SMP.
* Identify hazards and manage controls to minimise risks.
* Comply with client and company HSEQ requirements.
Environment
* Site based FIFO 2/1 roster.
* Remote construction sites based in the North or East of Western Australia.
Requirements
* Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering
* 2 - 3 years civil engineering site experience.
* Resilient and confident.
* Experience working on large fast paced construction projects.
* Familiarity with Surveying gear including Total Stations, GPS/GNSS, Laser Surveyors, Auto levels.
* Comfortable with variety of software including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, 12D, Carlson Survey.
* Keen for a Working Holiday experience.
