Role Overview
The 4‑star Glenroyal Hotel & Leisure Club is seeking an experienced and creative Head Mixologist to join our vibrant team. Conveniently located just a short stroll from Maynooth town centre and only a 25‑minute drive from Dublin City Centre, the Glenroyal Hotel is easily accessible via national rail and bus services.
As Head Mixologist in our popular Arkle Bar, you will take ownership of the cocktail offering and lead by example in delivering an exceptional guest experience. This is a senior role requiring a minimum of four shifts per week, with availability across mid‑week and weekends as required.
Main Responsibilities
Design, develop and regularly refresh a creative cocktail menu that reflects current trends and guest preferences
Lead, mentor and inspire the bar team to deliver consistently excellent service
Deliver friendly, efficient and professional service to all guests at the highest standard
Maintain an expert knowledge of our full beverage offerings, including spirits, wines and cocktails
Maintain the cleanliness, organisation and presentation of the Arkle Bar
Conduct staff training sessions on cocktail preparation, techniques and product knowledge
Skills & Experience Requirements
Minimum of four years of bartending experience, with at least two years in a mixologist or bar lead role
Proven ability to craft and curate innovative cocktail menus
Strong leadership skills
Passion for mixology and delivering outstanding customer experiences
A high level of written and spoken English is required
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts including late nights, afternoons and weekends
