Responsibilities:
* Conduct Risk Assessments, JSAs (Job Safety Analysis) and safety reviews.
* Develop and maintain Housekeeping and 6S program requirements.
* Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
* Develop and deliver OHS training programs to employees.
* Drive safety culture through employee engagement and communication (site induction, toolbox talks, etc.) to ensure personnel are understanding of their duties and responsibilities.
* Manage and maintain emergency response and security programs including fire safety, site security and business continuity planning.
* Liaise with contractors for safe working practices, RAMs, method statements, insurance certs.
* Liaise with consultants for specialist requirements: ATEX, chemicals, occupational noise, industrial hygiene etc.
* Ensure that inspection records are maintained and preserved for all activities and plant equipment.
* Ensure compliance with EHS laws, standards, corporate policies and insurance requirements.
* Provide OHS guidance for change management processes, including review and approval of equipment and machinery modifications and process changes.
* Participate in pre-start up safety reviews, internal and external auditing, site safety inspections and walkdowns.
* Achieve a series of effective EHS KPI's for the site.
* Support Company quality programs and initiatives.
Education / Qualifications (Desirable but not Essential)
* Minimum Level 6 in OHS discipline from an accredited institution or Tech IOSH.
Training / Experience (Desirable but not Essential)
* Minimum 3-5 years' experience in GMP production environment, preferably in medical device or pharma industry.

* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with all levels of the organization.
* Self-starter with demonstrated efficient work methods, problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
