The role
Junior Quantity Surveyor
Construction Client-side Project Management company taking projects from concept to completion on projects throughout Dublin are seeking Graduate / Junior QS. Based in D2. Projects included Hotels, apartment blocks, student accommodation, healthcare, mixed use buildings, various government contracts.
Someone who can work across multiple divisions, assisting with project management, site visits and project monitoring, etc.
Outline
As Junior Quantity Surveyor you will work across teams on multiple projects, assisting the senior QS and helping on the Project Management side as required.
You will work closely with the Project Managers, Senior QS and be a member of the consultant’s team and gain experience on multiple projects across all areas of the QS function, including, estimating, Contracts, Procurement of Packages, Supply Chain Package Management, Pricing Variations, Management of plant, materials, labour, sub-contractors, valuations and final accounts. Assisting with project monitoring and stakeholder management.
Key Requirements:
Minimum Degree qualification or higher
Positive attitude, capable of easily fitting into fast moving work environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good time management skills
Comfortable working with a team and able to work alone as the situation dictates
Responsible
You must be commercially aware, motivated and want to progress professionally.
