Overview: This is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to join Susquehanna to work alongside core business teams, traders, technology managers, developers and domain experts to drive and deliver strategic and high-value initiatives across the full trading lifecycle.
You will define business requirements for complex business problems and new trading initiatives, impacting Trading systems development across front and middle office environments. You will be responsible for evaluating appropriate methodologies that best apply to these projects to ensure that they are deployed and implemented according to the needs of the business teams.
You will create and manage project plans and schedules, coordinate activities of related teams, identify potential issues, provide status reporting and facilitate these projects and initiatives through to completion. The ideal candidate will have detailed experience in delivering complex technology solutions within one or more of front office, middle and back-office functions.
Responsibilities
* Lead cross-functional, global planning with Legal, Trading, Operations, Technology, Compliance and Risk teams and interact with external counterparties as required.
* Define project scope and solution; translate requirements into actionable project roadmaps and key deliverables. Work closely with stakeholders to ensure transparency and buy-in across the business areas.
* Provide regular concise and informative communication to stakeholders inclusive of project status reports and dashboards, meeting minutes and executive reports and presentations.
* Take end users and senior business project sponsors through the process of defining business requirements for software developments.
* Take ownership of the translation of business requirements into functional specifications.
* Coordinate teams to facilitate the execution of deliverables, guiding their activities to ensure project objectives are met.
* Drive prioritisation and resource alignment to ensure timely execution of high-impact initiatives.
* Successfully manage the relationship between all stakeholders and third parties.
* Take a lead role in working with developers and testers to ensure requirements are fulfilled.
* Work with end users during user review and UAT.
* Perform risk management to minimize project risk; document and track any open issues for stakeholders and project teams.

Experience
* A minimum of 6 years project management and business analyst experience within the Financial Services industry.
* A thorough understanding of operational trade flows (i.e., trade economics, trading platforms, venues and exchanges, operational, legal, compliance and regulatory considerations) across at least two or more of Exchange traded Equities, ETFs, Options or Futures products.
* Proven project management and analyst experience delivering key business and technology initiatives within a trading environment, with a demonstrated record of systems delivery participating in all aspects of requirements, design, QA, Support, UAT and production go-live.
* Strong leadership, planning, estimation, and risk management skills with the ability to work independently.
* Excellent communication (both oral and written) and organizational skills.
* Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, SQL and relational databases.
* Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel; experience utilizing applications such as Visio and Microsoft Project.
