Krispy Kreme is looking for a motivated and hands-on Production Shift Leader to join our team at the Blanchardstown factory. This is a key leadership role within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment, responsible for running production shifts, leading teams, and ensuring our iconic doughnuts are produced to the highest standards.
What Will I Do as a Food Production Shift Leader?
Not only will you run production shifts daily and lead the team, you will also be actively involved in the manufacturing process.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Leading, supervising, and motivating production teams on shift
* Measuring and mixing large batches of dough ingredients, involving repetitive heavy lifting
* Bags of flour can weigh up to 25kg, and are used frequently
* Overseeing the dough process from mixing through oven proving and frying on the production line
* Ensuring production targets, quality standards, and deadlines are consistently met
* Cleaning and maintaining production machinery daily once production is complete
* Managing shift handovers and communicating performance and issues clearly
* Working in a fast-paced, versatile manufacturing environment, especially during peak periods throughout the week and year
* Maintaining exceptionally high expectations of food safety, hygiene, and quality standards
* Following food production specifications consistently and accurately
Working Pattern
* Fully flexible availability is essential
* Working any 5 days over 7
* Must be able to work morning, mid, evening, and night shifts
* Flexibility is required to cover full production operations
* 8-hour shifts, in line with site-specific manufacturing requirements
* What We're Looking For in a Food Production Shift Leader
* Previous experience in a similar role or the desire and ability to step up into a leadership position
* Excellent availability to work Monday to Sunday
* Physically fit, comfortable with manual handling, and able to work on your feet
* A strong team player who owns the outcome and is driven to succeed
* Excellent work ethic, reliability, coachability, and a positive attitude
* Strong communication skills and the ability to lead by example
